The Jersey Hospitality Association (JHA), the trade association for Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure businesses in the Island, has launched a BURSARY SCHEME to give a local student the chance to get ahead in Hospitality.
If you are interested in Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure as a career you can apply for the Scheme and, if successful, you not only receive a financial contribution towards your expenses, but will be able to undertake work experience in different sectors within the hospitality industry. The Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure sectors offer varied opportunities for exciting careers in Jersey.

Criteria
- Students submit their application including 300 words on why they are best suited to receive this award
- Students must follow a hospitality/tourism/leisure related degree at their chosen university
- Students must complete in full their degree course
- Student applications go before selection panel for consideration Three local students will be short-listed to present their applications to the panel
- Winning student selected for JHA Bursary Scheme
JHA Student Bursary Scheme – Financial Details
- £300 per term towards expenses e.g. flights, books etc = £900 pa
- £100 of gift vouchers pa
- Work experience in different sectors of the hospitality industry
- Four weeks paid industry work experience each year to coincide with university holiday periods
