Welcome to the World of Hospitality

Want us to work for you?

As the trade association for the hospitality and tourism industry in Jersey, it is the JHA’s role to champion our industry so that members and industry partners are able to operate their businesses as far as possible without the regulatory and financial burdens that hinder economic growth and profitability.

Why join 400 others at the JHA?

We have an important role to be the agenda-setter and to provide direction for the development of the visitor economy so that maximum economic benefit can be achieved. JHA is much more than a lobbying organisation; we combine a clear business agenda alongside the delivery of tangible membership benefits and services. Our members enjoy great partnership deals that save money and we offer professional advice on the important operational details that help businesses manage their day to day business needs.

We positively promote the industry’s priorities in collaboration with Government and trade partners by effectively representing hospitality and tourism in Jersey. Key issues are identified and clear policies are adopted to reflect the views and needs of a diverse range of industry partners who, in terms of turnover and work force, represent an essential part of Jersey’s economic infrastructure and its social landscape. We also monitor policies, regulations and legislative issues that have an impact on this important sector of the local economy.

Reasons to join the JHA?

We have around 400 businesses and trade partners that we are proud to count as our members. The JHA currently represents the following industry partners: Hotels; Guest Houses; Self-catering apartments; Campsites; Restaurants; Cafes; Pubs; Bars; Tourist attractions; Caterers; Tour operators; Transport providers; Car and cycle hire companies; Leisure; Retail; Hospitality Service and Product Suppliers and Colleges.

Partner organisations provide our members with goods, benefits and services at very competitive rates that can only be provided through corporate and affinity business schemes. Partners provide our members with a strong commercial offer and the JHA communicates these offers through regular updates and promotions to our membership databases of over 500 contacts.
