Last month saw some further progress in moving out of lockdown. As part of Level 3 of the Safe Exit Plan, indoor businesses were allowed to open subject to strict provisions to stop the spread of coronavirus. That includes not opening if your employees can continue to work from home.
From Thursday 21 May, indoor businesses such as offices, warehouses, manufacturing and workshops could return to their premises and resume workplace-based activity. It was really aimed at maintaining the business function and where such work could not be carried out from home.
So it’s not a complete easing of restrictions by any means, but it means more people will be going to work and hopefully starting to use more of the al fresco and delivery services operated by our members.
Worth noting though what the guidelines are, especially for those within the Association that fall into that category and for those hoping to get the go ahead to re-open in the near future. That way you can at the very least, make similar preparations for when it is your turn. There are posters that can be downloaded too.
