Jersey’s Visit Safe Charter has now launched, asking businesses to sign up to a united set of guidelines and practices which will offer both islanders and visitors comfort in our Covid-19 world. The Charter is the result of consultation between the Jersey Hospitality Association, Government of Jersey and Visit Jersey and has the following aims:
- Provide Jersey’s tourism and hospitality industry with a united approach that effectively addresses risk from Covid-19 and mitigates its present and future impact to the visitor economy.
- Give islanders and visitors confidence that they can enjoy #theislandbreak safe in the knowledge that robust measures and protocols are in place to combat Covid-19.
- Provide a seal of approval for businesses that implement the Visit Safe checks and processes. The Visit Safe logo will help to instil consumer confidence and kick-start the visitor economy.
- We are stronger as one and with a united approach to marketing the Visit Safe Charter we will have a greater impact.
We would encourage all businesses to now sign up to the Charter using the below link where you can complete your checklists:
We hope that the Visit Safe logo will reassure people of how effectively we are managing the current situation and that our hotels, restaurants and venues all meet the highest standards possible and are safe and enjoyable.
